Arrive and feel at home
In addition to our wonderful outdoor area with a view of the Rheingau vineyards, the interior of our wine tavern at Weingut Sohns also invites you to linger. Light wooden tables, warm materials and an open design create a modern, cozy atmosphere.
Large windows provide plenty of daylight, while the open counter and clear lines make the room ideal for relaxed moments of indulgence, sociable gatherings and quiet evenings in the wine tavern - in any weather and at any time of year.

Our seasonal wine tavern is only open on selected dates in spring, summer, and autumn.
You can find the current opening hours under "Event Calendar".
During our opening hours, we welcome you:
Wednesday to Friday from 5 PM
(including Gourmet Week Monday)
Saturday, Sunday & public holidays from 3 PM
Monday & Tuesday are rest days
Enjoy relaxed hours with a glass of SOHNS wine and regional delicacies from Matthias Böhler – either on our terrace, the rooftop terrace with a view of the Middle Rhine Valley, or in our cozy indoor spaces.

Verleben Sie genussreiche Stunden in unserer Straußwirtschaft bei einem guten Glas SOHNS-Wein und regionalen Köstlichkeiten.
The winner of the "Golden Chef's Hat" and "Chef of the Year" from the Hotel Seelust in Cuxhaven will demonstrate his
fish culinary skills with a 5-course menu. With each course, we will serve you numerous corresponding SOHNS wines from various vintages from the treasure cellar as well as the current assortment.
Enjoy delightful hours in our wine tavern with a good glass of SOHNS wine and regional delicacies.
Together with red cabbage, braised apple, chestnuts, dumplings, and sauce, we serve the goose as a 3-course menu including a starter and dessert for 65 Euros per person. A meatless alternative has also been considered.
A special wine list, of course, cannot be missing on such an evening. Our wine recommendations come from winemaker Pascal Sohns, who will enrich the evening with his expert advice.
