The wine displays an intense straw yellow with fine silver reflections in the glass. The nose is initially slightly reduced, then increasingly complex: hints of marzipan allude to the 30 months of aging on lees, accompanied by cidery apple, fresh grass, and clear citrus notes of lime and preserved lemon. On the palate, it is taut and precise, with cool, focused fruit and great depth. The texture is dense, yet vibrant, supported by a pronounced mineral structure. Extremely salty on the finish, long and puristic.

The vines in Geisenheim's Kläuserweg are rooted in deep, calcareous loess loam and tertiary marl. At around 110 meters above sea level, they benefit from an optimal balance of warmth and minerality. This complex soil structure shapes the wine's character with tension, depth, and finely saline elegance.
